A fact about me is, that I’m a big Junkie of series. It all started with “Good Times, Bad Times”, (a german series). Every day I sneaked up to my grandma and looked with her this series, because I was not allowed by my parents to watch it.
So my love for series has begun. And today I want to tell you about a series which has now also gained a sort of copy off it.
It’s all  about The Walking Dead vs Fear the walking dead-shortly only TWD vs FTWD.
In the years of lots of series love my genre and my taste has changed. If I wanted entertainment and wanted to relax myself, I watched light stuff.

Unfortunately, I wanted more action, cleverness and thriller. So I’ve became an adrenaline Junkie of series. : D. So that’s why my heart beat a little higher than I started  to watch the “The Walking Dead”. I must say, when I watched at the first episode, I really couldn’t sleep the whole night. I had incredible lots of fear. However, I am a type of person when I’ve started something, then do this until the end. So I stayed on it and enjoyed myself every week to watch The Walking Dead. I think the main characters are so incredibly interesting. Not only that, her performance is excellent, they are really strong characters and you suffer with them, because they have been already closed into the heart. Clearly, I know lots of people who think, “Oh Zombies …. such a fancy stuff I don’t look at and that is anyway all just fiction”. I have really a different opinion!
Clearly there are lots of Zombies, but for me it’s not all that counts. Because people react in such bad situation that where everybody thinks only of himself and see that he survived- doesn’t matter how. Since we don’t have to go far, because the war is no different and there are people who act like Zombies.
Therefore, I like The Walking Dead so much. It’s not only just about Zombies, but also about the people and their emotional state. Some of them are simply leader types but emotionally can’t handle it or the some people who was classified as shy types and in the End they’re stronger than the others. This makes this series so incredibly exciting, also the special effects with the zombies).
Each series has a rest after one season, so the more I was pleased that there is now a another like TWD. Full of anticipation, I sat down and watched the first season of Fear the Walking Dead and I was terribly disappointed. For me, it was simply a cheap and also a not so well-staffed copy. No! Copy would be a compliment.
I only partly think of, where is in some sequences the logic behind it. Sometimes I thought, that the  makers of Fear The Walking Dead think that their viewers are stupid and don’t notice if something illogical happens, just to get a chapter to an end. I don’t know what they were thinking, but I’ll definitely stop watching the FTWD. I’m extremely disappointed and I think they just wanted to jump on the hype of TWD and that’s it. Travis and his wannabe people will definitely not be on the same level like Rick and his crew . Therefore, for me personally The Walking Dead won this battle. Ein Fakt über mich ist, dass ich ein großer Serienjunkie bin. Angefangen hat alles mit “Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten”, als ich jeden Tag heimlich zu meiner Oma hoch geschlichen bin und es mit ihr angeschaut habe, da ich es von meinen Eltern aus nicht durfte.
So hat mein Serienlebenslauf angefangen. Und heute möchte ich euch über eine Serie berichten die nun auch eine Art Ableger dazu gewonnen hat.
Es geht um The Walking Dead vs Fear the Walking Dead– abgekürzt wird es mit TWD vs FTWD.
In den Jahren der Serienliebe hat sich mein Genre und mein Geschmack stark verändert. Wenn ich Unterhaltung wollte und mich dabei entspannen wollte, habe ich leichte Kost angeschaut. Leider hat sich schnell raus kristalisiert, dass ich eher der Adrenalinserienjunkie bin :D.Daher schlug mein Herz ein wenig höher, als ich angefangen hatte “The Walking Dead” anzuschauen. Ich muss sagen, als ich die erste Satffel und die erste Folge angeschaut hatte, konnte ich die ganze Nacht nicht schlafen, so sehr hat mich das mit genommen. Ich bin jedoch ein Typ Mensch, wenn ich mal was angefangen habe, dann wird es auch bis zum Ende durchegzogen. Daher blieb ich dran und erfreute mich jede Woche aufs Neue. Ich finde die Hauptcharaktere so wahnsinnig interessant. Nicht nur, dass ihre schauspielerische Leistung hervorragend ist, sie sind wirklich starke Charaktere und man leidet einfach extrem mit, da man sie schon ins Herz geschlossen hat. Klar kenne ich viele die meinen, :” Oje Zombies….so Fantasiezeugs schaue ich nicht an und das ist ja eh alles nur Fiktion”. Ich bin da anderer Meinung !
Klar gibt es Zombies nicht und ehrlich gesagt ist das für mich auch nicht ausschlaggebend. Denn das wa sfür mich zählt ist, das Menschen einfach in Notsituationen teilweise so reagieren. Wo jeder nur an sich denkt und schauen muss das er überlebt. Da müssen wir gar nicht weit gehen, denn beim Krieg ist das nicht anders und da sind es die Menschen die als Zombies agieren.
Daher mag ich The Walking Dead so sehr. Da es eben nicht nur um Zombies geht, sondern auch um die Menschen und deren Gefühlslage. Das manche einfach Anführertypen sind und dennoch daran zerbrechen oder Personen die eher als schüchtern eingestuft wurden und dann über sich hinaus gewachsen sind. Das macht diese Serie so unglaublich spannend, zudem die Specialeffects mit den Zombies ;).
Da jede Serie eine Pause nach einer Staffel hat, hat es mich umso mehr gefreut, dass es nun auch einen Ableger von TWD gibt. Voller Vorfreude habe ich mich daran gesetzt und mir die erste Staffel von Fear the Walking Dead angeschaut und war maßlos enttäuscht. Für mich war es einfach eine billige und zudem eine nicht so gut besetzte Kopie. Nein! Kopie wäre noch ein Kompliment.
Ich dachte teilweise nur, wo denn bei manchen Dingen die Logik dahinter steckt. Denken die Macher von Fear the Walking Dead denn, dass die Zuschauer doof sind und nicht merken wenn man ihnen was unlogisches hin wirft nur um ein Kapitel zu Ende zu bringen? Ich weiß nicht was sie sich dabei gedacht haben, aber ich werde FTWD definitiv nicht mehr weiter schauen. Ich bin maßlos enttäuscht und denke, dass sie einfach auf den Hype von TWD aufspringen wollten und das war’s. Gegen Rick und seine Crew kommt Travis und seine Möchtegern Leute definitv nicht an.
