Sponsored Post | Summer in the city with Bum Bum ice

When I think back to my childhood, I see: camping, vacation, water fun also immediately my beloved Bum-Bum ice in my mind.

I love this refreshing dip in between, especially in summer when it’s so hot out there.
Unfortunately, this summer is far away, because of this bad weather at the moment and and so I had to bring me my summer and my childhood memories back into my home.

“Can I get a Bum-Bum ice,please?”,shy I stood in front of the ice cream parlor and counted my money to say this one sentence.

No Ice Cream was so special to me, like a Bum-Bum Ice cream. Although I think obviously different today, because there are now so many varieties of ice cream that you can no longer decide :).
Anyway, that was always my highlight of the summer and I bought every day a Bum-Bum ice.
The great thing about this ice was, of course, that you didn’t hold just any ice cream in your hand, NO, there was always a surprise. After eaten the delicious ice cream, which tasted of strawberry and vanilla, I couldn’t wait to unpacking the blue packaging of chewing gum to put the gum in my mouth. I loved it and couldn’t get enough of it. But one summer I had, let’s put it mildly, quite overdone and that was the end of my Bum-Bum ice love.

So when I was among the lucky ones who were able to test the Bum-Bum ice for their 30 years anniversary, I was again on fire, because there are already some more years gone and I eaten the last Bum-Bum Ice years ago. As is known, not only we develop further, but also a lot of products. All the more curious I was therefore to test this product.

To be honest, I was a little nervous when I bought the package. Many thoughts were in my head. The most important question was: “Tastes my Bum-Bum ice so good at all?”.

The design has not really changed so much. The Bum-Bum ice is still red and has a blue plastic gum style.
The taste, I must admit, has changed a little bit, because sooner I often had the taste of strong artificial taste in my mouth and now this taste is much weaker, but I really love it. On the package, they even says that the Bum-Bum ice is now free from artificial colors and flavors.
But what I still don’t think is really successful, is the chewing gum. Although I had been looking forward this chewing gum.
The taste is naturally delicious, only the gum has it’s taste not that long and it is very fast too “hard” in my mouth. But as already mentioned, also products continue to evolve, and it would be a suggestion for the next 30 years ;).

Nevertheless, I must say, the Bum-Bum ice has earned his 30.th anniversary, as this not only makes children’s hearts happy, but also adults.

Wenn ich an meine Kindheit zurück denke, schießt mir neben Campen, Urlaub, Wasserspaß auch sofort mein heißgeliebtes Bum-Bum Eis in den Kopf.
Ich liebe diese frische Abkühlung für Zwischendurch, vor allem im Sommer wenn es so heiß ist.
Leider lässt sich der Sommer dieses Jahr sehr zaghaft bis gar nicht blicken und somit musste ich mir meinen Sommer und meine Kindheitserinnerung zu mir nach Hause holen.

Schüchtern stand ich vor der Eisdiele im Freibad und habe ständig mein Geld gezählt, um nur diesen einen Satz sagen zu dürfen:” Ich bekomme bitte ein Bum-Bum Eis“.

Dagegen kamen alle anderen Sorten nie im Leben an. Obwohl ich heute natürlich anders denke, denn es gibt mittlerweile so viele Sorten von Eis, dass man sich gar nicht mehr entscheiden kann :).
Wie dem auch sei, das war immer mein Highlight im Sommer und ich habe mir jeden Tag ein Bum-Bum Eis gekauft.
Das tolle an diesem Eis war natürlich, dass man nicht nur irgendein Eis in der Hand hielt, NEIN, man hatte auch als Überraschung den Kaugummi Stil. Nachdem man das leckere Eis, welches nach Erdbeer und Vanille schmeckte, verputzt hatte, konnte ich es kaum erwarten die blaue Verpackung vom Kaugummi zu lösen um anschließend den Kaugummi in meinen Mund zu stecken. Ich habe das geliebt und konnte nicht genug davon bekommen. Doch einen Sommer lang hatte ich es, sagen wir es mal gelinde ausgedrückt, ziemlich übertrieben und das war das Ende meiner Bum-Bum Eis Liebe.

Als ich daher zu den Glücklichen gehörte, die das Bum-Bum Eis zum 30 jährigem Jubiläum testen durften, war ich wieder Feuer und Flamme, denn es sind ja schon einige Jährchen ins Land gezogen sied ich das letzte Bum-Bum Eis gegessen hatte. Bekanntlich entwickeln nicht nur wir uns weiter, sondern auch viele Produkte. Umso neugieriger war ich daher, dieses Produkt zu testen.

Ich muss ehrlich sagen, ich war ein wenig nervös, als ich mir die Packung gekauft hatte. Denn viele Gedanken kreisten mir nur so im Kopf herum. Die wichtigste Frage jedoch war: ” Schmeckt mir das Bum-Bum Eis überhaupt noch?”.

Das Design hat sich nicht wirklich viel verändert. Das Bum-Bum Eis ist immer noch rot und hat einen blauen Plastik Kaugummi Stil.
Der Geschmack, muss ich zugeben, hat sich ein wenig verändert. Denn früher hatte ich oft den Geschmack des stark künstlichen Geschmackes im Mund und heute ist dieser Geschmack viel schwächer, was mir aber besser gefällt. Auf der Packung steht sogar, dass das Bum-Bum Eis mittlerweile frei von künstlichen Farbstoffen und Aromen ist.
Was ich aber immer noch nicht wirklich gelungen finde, ist der Kaugummi. Obwohl ich mich immer wieder darauf gefreut hatte.
Der Geschmack ist natürlich lecker, nur der Kaugummi behält nicht wirklich lange diesen Geschmack bei und wird auch im Mund sehr schnell “hart”. Aber wie schon erwähnt, auch Produkte entwickeln sich weiter und es wäre eine Anregung für die nächsten 30 Jahre ;).

Dennoch muss ich sagen, hat das Bum-Bum Eis sein 30.jähriges Jubiläum verdient, denn es macht nicht nur Kinderherzen glücklich, sondern auch Erwachsene.
